Ron Dillon

Ron has over 40 years of operational experience and expertise in financial management, marketing, strategic planning, product introduction, sales expansion, pricing, distribution systems and organization development. He has led the successful turnaround of several businesses including food distribution, IT services, Industrial Distribution and Specialty manufacturing. He brings an original blend of talents and processes to the Dillon Group team of professionals. As co-founder of the firm, Ron works in all phases of the business.

Professional Experience

President and CEO of an Agriculture Products Manufacturing Company. Successfully completed a corporate reorganization of the firm within 24 months while increasing sales and profits at an annual growth rate of 25%. This was followed by the successful turnaround and sale of a Food Products Distributor.

Chairman of the Board of a closely held Alcohol Fuel Production Company. Arranged financing through Industrial Revenue Bonds, coordinated engineering and building of production plant.

Consulting assignments include clients such as Iowa State University, Lloyds of London, Certainteed Products Corporation, and General Foods Corporation, along with a long list of middle market firms.

Ron's Transactional experience started well before the formation of the Dillon Group in 1990. The transfer into merger and acquisition services merely extended his knowledge and focus on Building Materials, Construction, Distribution and Manufacturing industries.
